Hunt after park stabbing
AN investigation is underway after a man was stabbed at a park in Ashfield on Saturday night.
Emergency services were called to Albert Parade Reserve about 7.25pm and found a 26-year-old man with stab wounds to his leg and shoulder.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical condition.
A crime scene has been established in the reserve and an investigation is now underway by officers from Burwood Police Area Command.

Drink driving flee arrest
A MAN has been charged with drink driving following a police pursuit early Saturday morning.
Just before 2am, officers from Traffic and Highway Patrol Command were performing stationary RBT duties on the Princes Highway, Tempe, when a Subaru Forster was seen to suddenly turn into a side street.
Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, however, the driver failed to stop, and a pursuit was initiated.
Road spikes were successfully deployed at King Georges Road, Roselands, and the vehicle stopped, however, the occupants had to be forcibly removed.
The Newtown man was charged with police pursuit – not stop – drive recklessly, drive with low range PCA, and resist or hinder police officer in the execution of duty.
