Futsal champ boys also win Footy Cup

THERE must be something in the water at East Hills, with East Hills Boys High School spawning their latest generation of sporting champions.

Despite it only being their first year of playing together, a group of Year 9 and 10 boys have taken out the Bankstown Zone Futsal Championship as well as the Sydney South West Puma Football Cup.
Coached by Head Teacher HSIE, Ben Wilson, the boys are now chomping at the bit for the start of the soccer season in March.
“They’ve had a lot of fun together and are proud of their achievement,” he said.
“They’re all still very young so no doubt have a big future ahead of them.”
Goalkeeper Mostafa said: “It was a great experience and nothing was getting past me.”
Haider said: “Winning with this group of boys is fun.”
Muhammad said: “Such a great time, up the East Hills Boys.”
Avash said: “There’s no better feeling than winning with our mates, while representing our school.
“The drive and passion the boys played with led to success, but most importantly up the gaffer (coach), Mr Willson.”
