The car, driven be a man in his 50s, crashed though the fence of the parking area about 9.30am, down an embankment and came to a rest with the front sitting on a maintenance track. The driver suffered minor injuries.
It took several hours before the car could safely be removed.
Lucky escape after crash onto rail track
A MOTORIST had a lucky escape when he crashed his car through a safety barrier and landed on a train track at Auburn last Wednesday morning.
