Would you like her to know how to protect herself if grabbed from behind?
If the answer is yes and your daughter is aged from 12 to 20 years, you can sign her up for a free, 10-week Female Only Self Defence class starting next Wednesday, April 26, 5-6pm, at Western Sydney Community Centre, 98 Auburn Road, Auburn.
Held at the same time every Wednesday, the classes will be delivered by two qualified ‘Black Belt’ female instructors from NSW Martial Arts (NMA).
NMA head instructor Ihsan Deliktaslidan says there is nothing better for a girl to learn than martial arts.
“The world’s becoming a dangerous place and it’s important that young females know how to protect themselves,” he said.
“Martial arts is great for improving confidence in any setting and for boosting self esteem.
“It not only builds muscle, but it also improves flexibility and balance over time.
“It even helps to build mental strength as it requires focus and discipline, and the socialising with others is a great mood booster.
“As much as strength comes into play, they will also be taught that strategy is equally important.
“I can’t recommend it enough; all families should take up this opportunity for their girls.”
