Joining Saints in 2015 as a six-year-old, he is one of the stars in the U15 Maroon and 8th grade Gold sides.
Saints vice-president Andrew Sheehy says selection in the squad is a massive achievement for Kostas and the club and Bankstown District Cricket Association are incredibly proud of him.
“We have had a couple before but he is the only Bankstown representative,” he said.
Regularly playing up an age group, Sheehy said that while he was on the seniors team recently, Kostas was playing on the seniors opposing side.
“I was very grateful to be 12th man,” Sheehy said.
“He is just that good with amazing cricket ability; a very fast bowler and a powerful hitter.
“He is very humble and shy and one of those kids that is the prototype of where the game is going; it’s all about 20/20 and Big Bash and Kostas has all the tools in his repertoire to become a very successful, modern day cricketer, he just takes over a game and wins.
“He deserves all of his success and we wish him all the best.”
